As you may know, the requirements to earn a Green Ribbon Schools Award for the 2012-2013 school year were updated at the beginning of this school year.  To see a full list of requirements you can visit this page.

Today we are going to touch on one of the updates to the requirement list, which is the need to include a minimum of one image or video in your results page.  Below is a step by step guide on how to upload and insert images and videos.


When you first “start a new project” you will have the option of using a default thumbnail image or uploading your own image.  We would love for you to upload your own thumbnail image, which gives a good snapshot of your project, although, that image does not fulfill the “image or video” requirement for your GRS award.

To fulfill your image or video requirements you must upload an image or video into your results builder page.

In your Results Builder Page you will see a box on the right hand side labeled “Project Files.” Click on the “Upload Image/Video” button.

Once you click on “Upload Image/Video,” a pop-up window will appear that allows you to choose the file to upload.

Once you have chosen your file click on “complete Upload”

Now that your file is uploaded you will choose “Insert Image” or “Insert Video” in the tool bar of your Results Page Builder.

This will prompt a pop-up window that allows you to choose which image or video you would like to insert into your Results Page from a drop down menu.

Once you have chosen the image or video you want to insert from the drop down menu, simply push “insert” and your image or video will appear in your results page.
